Starved Rock State Park now offers hiking at night.

I'm not a big outdoor activity type of person. Every once in a while, I do enjoy hitting a state park to do a little exploring. It's a great way to escape reality.

Since the state parks have opened back up. They've been super busy. The capacity is limited, so people get there very early. If you wait, unfortunately, you won't get it.

Now, Starved Rock State Park is offering a unique way to enjoy it and you don't have to be an early bird.

According to theherald-news.com,

"The trails at Starved Rock normally close at dusk. Visitors are not allowed to hike at night except on the scheduled night hikes. There is no cost to attend the night hikes but visitors need to pre-register for them ahead of time."

That sounds like an interesting way to enjoy the park.
