You've got all kinds of spots that will be filling the skies with color and sound. Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Cherry Valley, Byron, Durand, and so many more are all going to deliver big this Independence Day.

Who is ready for fireworks? With the 4th of July landing on a Tuesday in 2017, more people will have the opportunity to explore more fireworks than ever, this year.

To me, this is a no-brainer. Would you rather take your family to watch the fireworks on a Saturday or a Tuesday? Rockford's 4th of July committee wants to know.

Get in the holiday spirit as you watch the fireworks from Saturday's Stroll On State slowly burst over the Rock River.
