Many buildings across the North Star State are stunning architectural masterpieces, but there's one structure that's been named the Ugliest Building in Minnesota.

I am very afraid of heights, but I'll do my best to explain what's about to be built next door to Missouri. Once completed, it will tower almost 2,000 feet into the sky and it will be an easy day trip from Missouri in a most unusual place for skyscrapers.

When I think of tall structures in Missouri, I immediately think of big skyscrapers in St. Louis and Kansas City, but neither city has the tallest structure in the state. As a matter of fact, the tallest structure in Missouri isn't a building at all.

It's beautiful and is quite an architectural masterpiece. And a survey says the now over 100-year-old building is the Most Iconic in the entire state of Minnesota
