In Illinois, counterfeit $100 bills were used to purchase tacos.

Luckily, I've never been stuck with fake money because that would be horrible. Especially, if it was larger bills.

Looks like some bad guys were passing them off for tacos in Illinois.

According to newstrib.com,

"After counterfeit $100 bills started popping up. Two suspects have been identified. It’s an ongoing investigation. The suspects entered stores, used the phony money to buy small amounts of food, and left with the change. Investigators had taco meat and tortillas recovered from the suspects purchased at a downtown business."

That's a low blow using counterfeit money to buy tacos.
