An argument over a bill turned ugly for a couple from Illinois, and the local police were called to straighten out the entire mess.

Illinois Man Was Stabbed By His Wife After An Argument About An Electric Bill

It's strange how some couples in Illinois, no matter what, just can't get along. The littlest thing can set off a huge argument. The situation can get very ugly from there. Unfortunately, it happens way too often. The fight usually starts over something really dumb, but it rarely never settles down. The people close to the situation just hope that the local police don't have to get involved.

A 44-year-old North Chicago woman is accused of stabbing her husband with a drywall scraper during a domestic dispute after becoming upset over an unpaid electric bill and allegations that he had been unfaithful, according to authorities.

This problem happened recently in Lake County. A couple started arguing about the electric bill. Apparently, the wife got very upset because the husband didn't pay the monthly fee. Now, I understand that it's not good to blow off paying a bill, but it's definitely not worth getting upset about unless they're going to turn off your power.

Of course, that little argument turned into much bigger things. The woman then started accusing her husband of having an affair. That led to the wife grabbing a drywall scraper and stabbing the man in the shoulder with it. That sounds very painful. She called 911, and the officer on the line heard her threaten the man. They sent a patrol car to check out the situation. When the police arrived, they spotted the man in the driveway with his shoulder bleeding from the stabbing. The lady was arrested.
