Officers found the driver, later identified as Hence, slumped behind the wheel, police said. They also said they saw a gun in plain view on the passenger seat, open alcohol and marijuana in the center console.

It was at a very busy intersection in the suburbs after midnight on Saturday night. The vehicle pulled up to the light, but then didn't move when it turned green. A witness called the local police, who came out to investigate. When the police arrived, the officers discovered a man passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle. They were able to awaken the suspect and then search the car.

During the investigation, the officers discovered a loaded handgun. The suspect is a convicted felon, so that's a big no-no. They also found an open bottle of booze and a bag of cannabis. All of those things are illegal, so this guy's bad night just got worse. Since the guy has a previous record, and this is a pretty serious crime, our anti-hero will be going to jail for a very long time.
