Sportscore Two to get 13 Million Dollar Expansion

The Rockford Park District is set do some big time expansion work to Sportscore Two.

By the time the 13 Million dollar expansion is finished, Sportscore Two will be big enough to host a indoor pro football game. How cool is that!?!

According to WIFR once the project is completed, this should bring around 2 million people a year to our area.

So this got me thinking, with a Mega Sports Complex of this size what would I like to see there? Here are a few of my ideas:

• Chicago Bears Practice or Scrimmage Game
• A Rockford Comic Con
• Def Leppard
• KISS
• Ozzy
• WWE
• Metallica

This is another example of the growth of our community. A new structure that will bring two million annually to our area, that is amazing.

Embrace the positives, celebrate the growth, and do your part to make the Rockford area a happy and fun place to live.
