South Beloit Illinois Store Slings Savory Meat and Saucy One Liners

This place is a slice of beef above the rest with everything from New York Strips, Ribeye steaks and savory marquee sign messages. It's all tasteful and it's all good clean delicious fun...Yum indeed.

Over the weekend the wife and I made a little trip to grab some grill goodies. We do not need a reason to grab a steak, basically any day that ends in "Y" is steak worthy.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we were "those" people too...Sunday, Prairie Hill Meats closes at 6pm and we rolled in at 5:50pm....hate being that person, but they were all super friendly.

We got the goods, saw and heard a large man talking in a high pitched voice, and hit the road. As we pulled away, I said "check out that sign." Instantly the bass line was being hummed inside our car, classic.

You earned a long time customer, Prairie Hill Meats. Friendly staff, DELCIOUS food, entertaining and sarcastic signage...Perfect.

My only serious question, how can I get on that sign? Can I provide a meaty pun of my own? Is there a "try out?" Do I need to provide a protein packed liner or two to get approval? Let me know...I'll "meat" you halfway.

OK so back to the sign in question, once again..."well done." See I can't stop.
