Sneak Peek Into Rockford Airfest 2014

This morning was absolutely incredible, while extremely intimidating as well. I got to walk to runway at the Chicago Rockford International Airport while the USAF Thunderbirds, The Golden Knights, Team Aerostars and more.

When first arriving for media day, my tummy was in a ball of knots. I was going to fly in one of these planes! I was so nervous to be surrounded by the amazingly talented pilots and among these huge metal beasts.

Once I met a few of these strong and fit men and women, my mind was immediately put at ease. These are the people you want flying the plane you are about to do flips in. I can not say enough about these amazing men and women. I'm blown away.

While I am waiting for the planes to be inspected and fueled, I was able to take a walk on the runway and see some of these amazing planes in person. Listening to the jets start was unlike anything I have ever heard. Extremely loud, powerful, and intense.
