I've done the Weight Watchers program in the past, during the holiday season, and have still lost weight. One thing I can also say is that tracking the program points for alcohol consumed is a real buzzkill, unless you want to have a teeny, tiny glass of wine and who wants to do that?!? Thank goodness someone at Weight Watchers finally decided partnering in the creation of a lower-calorie wine was a smart thing to do.

Weight Watchers and Truett-Hurst Winery released the first selection in their line of lower-calorie wines this week, Cense, a Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand, and it sounds absolutely delish!

According to the product's website Cense wine is ;

a fresh and bright wine with aromas of lemon and lime, crisp acidity and juicy grapefruit flavors.

Now, for the most important questions; how much is it, where can I get it, and how many points will a glass cost me? The answers? Fifteen dollars a bottle, you can purchase it online right now, and a 5 ounce glass it 3 Weight Watchers points. Hmmm. I was hoping for one point per glass, but 3 ain't bad. Let's get our drink on!
