Rockford Police Release Sketch of Serial Rape Suspect

Rockford Police are looking for a serial rapist that has been attacking women on the Northwest side of Rockford.

Monday the Rockford PD released some more information on the possible suspect in these heinous crimes.

They’re looking for victims. These are the things they’re looking for: people that aren’t paying attention to their surroundings, people that are distracted,”

These recent attacks have been happening in the victims' homes, so people are being advised to immediately call 911 and escape your residence if at all possible.

Detective Wassner also stated that when most are put into that type of situation they will have either a fight, flight, or freeze response. But no matter which way one initially responds, an opportunity to throw the attacker off guard could likely come.

If this perpetrator does attempt to make contact with you, Police advise that you put up a fight and make as much noise as possible.
