Rockford Police & McDonald’s Giving Out Free Backpacks On 815 Day

Rockford Police aren't just fighting crime, they're helping make sure children are returning to school with the supplies kids need to succeed.

Rockford Police and locally owned Bear Family McDonald will be at two locations today (8/15, 815 Day) with backpacks for children while supplies last.

1. Living Faith Tabernacle Annex, 1124 4th Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
2. Rockford Police District 1, 1045 W. State Street, 4 to 6 p.m.

Children must be present to collect their backpack.
