The most important part of getting your nails done is the end result, but the second most important part is that massage chair.

You know I'm right. After a long day at work, you step into a nail salon ready to turn you fingers or toes from meh to magnificent but you kind of hope there's a slight wait so you can sit in the waiting area and enjoy one of the massage chairs first.

But have you ever seen a chair like this?

It's a whole body sensation. Basically a spaceship without a destination.

The chair massages you from head to toe, literally, there are feet rollers underneath your feet and you can fully recline with your entire body constantly being knocked and kneaded.

It was quite an experience.

My toe is out of commission right now so I did have to take my toes out of the massage part but other than that, I'd pay $20 to sit in the chair for an hour.

If you're curious what else is happening inside one of Rockford's newest nail salons, Gloss Nail Bar, right in front of Meijer on Perryville, well there is an actual bar and you can get a complimentary drink while you get your mani or pedi.

And there is also a ton of room in the salon, which leads me to believe it would be a great option for a bridal party getting ready for a wedding.

I made my appointment on Facebook which is my favorite way to do anything, my pedicure and matte no-chip manicure was $75.
