New Date and Location set for Deputy Wright Benefit

Monday, December 4th at Giovanni's you are invited to a benefit for Deputy Stephen Wright.

Our local brothers and sisters in blue have dealt with a lot lately. With the recent tragic loss of Officer Jaimie Cox, the benefit for Deputy Wright was postponed. So here are the details on the rescheduled event:

December 4th at Giovanni's 4-8pm

$20 Donation per person

Captain Jack 96.7 The Eagle as Emcee

10% of bar and food sales back to Deputy Wright (pizza and pasta stations for purchase)

Back in September, Winnebago County Sheriff Deputy Stephen Wright was making what he thought was a routine traffic stop. Little did he know it would turn into a nightmare. A suspect in the vehicle, Jordan Spates, opened fire on Deputy Wright, striking him in him multiple times in the back in shoulder and back.
