Local police were called to a neighborhood in Illinois about an older man causing a ruckus on his block.

Angry Illinois Man Arrested For Attacking A Car Driving Down His Block

Every neighborhood in Illinois has at least one. That's the mean old grumpy man or lady, who's never nice to anyone. In my neighborhood growing up, that person lived next door to my best friend. We lost many a baseball, basketball, football, and more in her yard. If it went over the fence, she said it was hers and wouldn't give it back.

It seems like there are more and more people are like that in the world today. They're never happy, and they just want to take it out on someone else. You could be completely nice to them, but they'll still be a jerk. I think we found who that person is in this neighborhood in Elmhurst.

This grumpy old man was angry at his neighbors for some apparent reason. He started screaming swear words at these poor people in their vehicle. Then, the suspect began throwing stuff at their car, too. It was damaged, so they called the police, and he was arrested. There was no reason why he did it.

According to Patch...

A 57-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 200 block of Geneva Avenue was arrested Monday on a criminal property damage charge.

 

 

Police said the incident occurred about 8 p.m. Sept. 25 at Clinton Avenue and Third Street, less than a block from where he lives.

 

 

The man is accused of yelling a profanity and throwing something at a car headed north on Clinton. The man was released.
