Metallica Threaten Canadian Tribute Band With Lawsuit

You don't steal or borrow from Metallica, duh.

The Canadian Metallica tribute band "Sandman" received a threatening letter about the style of logo they use, let the Lars bashing begin.

According to AUXTV the tribute band got some special mail, also known as a cease and desist order from the bands management.

Metallica took issue with Sandman using one of their “official, stylized logos” to promote live appearance and asked "kindly" for the tribute band to stop.
