Man Stuck at O’Hare Proposes With a Text [VIDEO]

Spending 50 hours in an airport can make you do some crazy stuff, like proposing to your girlfriend with a text message.

I've been stuck in more airports than you ever want to be, including O'Hare, and I've walked around in circles, bought way too many snacks, probably sent strange text messages, but this guy decided to do something pretty important during his stay at O'Hare, propose to his girlfriend.

This isn't a case of guy's flight keeps getting cancelled, he drinks his time away and impromptu proposal occurs, this was much better.

Danny Roderique had holiday plans to propose to his girlfriend in Arizona, but spent more than two days stuck in Chicago with the diamond ring. Danny decided not to wait to pop the question and asked his now fiance, Heather, to marry him through his phone.

Is it just me or does it look like he proposed on Facebook messenger?

You know, I've never been engaged but almost every single engagement story I know did not go as planned, just like Danny's.
