Being on the road as a famous musician is not an easy job. The bigger the artist, then the bigger the show with a lot more problems and lots of money on the line. Speaking of famous musicians and big shows, those can't survive without the roadies. They are the backbone of any tour. Without them, you would never see your favorite bands live. It's not an easy life. The crew goes from city to city and busts their butts to make sure the concert goes on as planned.
Country star, Luke Bryan has a massive tour going on this summer including a stop at Wrigley Field in Chicago. It takes several semi-trucks to get the equipment from city to city across the country. Each town is different so it takes some skill to navigate through traffic to arrive at the venue.
One of the trucks from Bryan's tour must have gotten turned around and ended up on a side street instead of the main road. I'm guessing the driver was trying to figure out the directions and wasn't paying attention to the clearance height of a bridge because it was too low and the semi got stuck.
Even though the truck sat there for several hours before being freed, the show went on as scheduled with no problems. It wasn't the first time this happened at this bridge. In fact, it happens quite often.
This isn't the first time one of Luke Bryan's trucks got stuck. A similar situation happened in Long Island, New York a few years ago.
