Loves Park Cops Have Put The Razors Away For the Month

It you get pulled over in Loves Park this month, don't mistake the officer for a K-9...it's "No Shave November." The idea and reason behind this is to raise awareness and money for men's health.

Officers are donating between $30 or $1 per day, which is right about how much is spent on shaving supplies for a month. They are also looking for donations Loves Park Police here's how you can help:

Donations can be mailed or dropped off, Loves Park Police Department, 540 Loves Park Dr., Loves Park, IL 61111, in care of the No-Shave November Program.

So if you see a Loves Park Police Officer sporting a beard for the next month, please know that it is for a good cause and they will be back to clean shaven in 30 days.
