Klehm Arboretum In Rockford Giving Away Trees On Arbor Day

Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden, 2715 South Main Street in Rockford, is giving away trees to celebrate Arbor Day.

Set for Friday, April 24, Klehm will be handing our bare root trees such as bur oak, red oak, and swamp white oak.

With social distancing rules in effect, a drive-thru giveaway will be set up allowing customers one at a time to pull up, choose their tree, and help themselves to a complimentary tree.

Klehm also invites all visitors to park their vehicles afterward and enjoy the beautiful grounds and gardens. Just be sure to keep six feet apart.

If your yard needs some sprucing up and you've considered adding a tree, this Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. is the perfect time to get one.
