Man Arrested After Bizarre Knife Attack Of TV At Illinois Motel

An Illinois man was arrested by local police after he went crazy with a pocket knife and started stabbing a bunch of stuff in a cheap motel room.

I think many towns in Illinois have at least one of those shady little rundown motels where the police are called a lot. It should be called the "trouble inn" because of its reputation. It's the kind of place where they have hourly rates. It's not somewhere you would ever want to stay. Plus, you'll probably end up with bed bugs.

Several times every year, the Joliet Police Department gets sent to the Star Inn motel on West Jefferson Street after trouble breaks out at the hotel, which offers daily and weekly rates.

 

The city of Joliet has a place that fits the description. It's called the Star Motel. I believe the front desk has the local police station on speed dial. This incident involved three guys sharing a room. One of the men lost his mind and started acting all crazy. It's a safe bet that it involved some sort of drugs.

The suspect pulled out a pocket knife and started stabbing a bunch of items in the room. He stabbed the television several times. Apparently, he didn't like the show that was on. His next move was to go after the bed. While stabbing the mattress several times, he also accidentally stabbed one of his friends in the foot. Luckily, he'll be okay, but the guy will be going to jail.
