Rockford Is Getting a New Breakfast Restaurant You’ll Want to Try

If there is one thing I have learned after living in the Rockford area for a very long time, it is that we Rockford people take our breakfast seriously, and soon we'll have another cool breakfast joint to check out and enjoy!

Here's the truth, my husband, my two daughters, and myself are all picky eaters, so choosing a restaurant to go to can be quite the debate.

My youngest daughter always wants to go to a chicken place, while my oldest wants pizza. My husband will choose a burger joint while I want Mexican. The one restaurant choice that we usually all agree on? Breakfast.

My children will happily get up early on a weekend morning if they know stopping for breakfast is on the itinerary, so they will be very pleased to know that Rockford is getting a new breakfast place soon called Scramblers.

What Is Scramblers?

Let's start with the most important information first. Scramblers is a restaurant chain that prides itself on fresh ingredients, delicious food, and exceptional service... they even crack their own eggs!

The Scramblers menu features everything a hardcore breakfast lover wants. I'm talking about pancakes, waffles, French toast, omelets, eggs Benedict, breakfast sandwiches, skillets, biscuits and gravy and more. Basically, if you are the person who says, “I could eat breakfast for dinner,” Scramblers is speaking your language.

One of the things Scramblers is particularly known for is its Bottomless Griddle. Certain pancake, French toast, and waffle options will keep coming to you fresh off the grill until you admit defeat.

Scramblers also offers lunch favorites like burgers, salads, and wraps for anyone not in the "breakfasty" mood.

Now, let's get to the exciting news: Scramblers is coming to Rockford soon!

New Rockford Scramblers Location

First Midwest Group recently announced that Scramblers is coming soon to 747 S. Perryville Road, in the Perryville Promenade area, right next to Chipotle in Rockford.

An official opening date for the Rockford Scramblers location has not been announced yet, but one thing is pretty clear: Rockford is about to have another reason to get out of bed on the weekend.

And honestly, I'm completely okay with that.
