Soup-er Hours: Illinois’ Newest Soup Restaurant Extends Service Hours

Turn up the heat and grab some soup at Illinois' newest soup restaurant. 

Cheers to 2024! What are some of the things you want to achieve this year? You might want to make new friends, learn how to play a new sport, or maybe, just maybe, your new year's resolution is to eat more soup.

If soup is on your to-do list, you now have double the amount of hours to grab soup at Illinois' newest soup restaurant, Mama's Feel Good Food in Loves Park, Illinois.

Yes, it's a restaurant totally devoted to soup!

If you don't know, Mama's Feel Good Food landed in Loves Park in October of 2023, taking over the spot that Dairy Depot leaves available each fall and winter.

Soup swapping for ice cream makes complete sense!

When Mama's Feel Good Food first opened, you could grab a bowl on Friday and Saturdays, but as of January 17 of this year, you can grab some soup Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Wednesday and Thursday you can stop by for the full service lunch from 11 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the hours are a bit longer, you can stop by after work until 7 p.m.

And on Sundays, from 11 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon, Mama's Feel Good Food offers ready to hear 1/2 galloons of their soup for you to take home and feed the fam, along with loaves of bread and drinks.

I haven't made it out to Mama's just yet, but it's on my 2024 to-do list for sure. Have you been there yet?
