Another Illinois Lottery Player Just Hit a $550,000 Prize

Illinois has another big lottery winner, and this time?  The lucky ticket was purchased online.

An Illinois Lottery player is now holding a Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $550,000 after matching all five numbers in Saturday night's drawing.

Seriously, one of these days I will be writing about myself winning.  For now, this winner hasn't come forward to claim the prize yet!

The winning numbers for the September 19th evening drawing were 10, 15, 30, 33 and 36.

If you played Lucky Day Lotto over the weekend, you might want to check your ticket.  You never know... $550,000 could be sitting in your app right now.

And this is just the latest string of big lottery wins happening across Illinois.

Earlier this month, two Illinois residents each won $200,000 after matching all five numbers in the September 12th midday drawing.  One winning ticket was purchased in Crete and the other in Rochelle.

There was also an $800,000 Lucky Day Lotto ticket sold at a 7-Eleven in Elk Grove Village that had not been claimed since I last checked!  That ticket also matched all five numbers in the August 24th evening drawing.

And if it feels like Illinois has been on an unbelievable winning streak lately, there's a pretty good reason it keeps making headlines: an Illinois Lottery player recently won the $1.04 billion Powerball!  They actually did come forward, surprisingly.  They didn't show their face, though.  As expected!

So, if you don't play the lottery often... maybe this is a sign to buy a ticket this week?  If we're winning big like this, why not throw a dollar or two into the pot and see if you win?!
