According to reports, officers responded to a disturbance and found the teenager with visible injuries. Police documented facial swelling, marks on her arms, and signs consistent with choking. Authorities said the injuries were apparent when officers arrived on scene.
Investigators allege the altercation stemmed from an argument over politics. During the confrontation, the woman is accused of physically attacking the teen and threatening her life. According to police, the woman allegedly told the teen, "I will kill you." The woman was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts of domestic battery. Details about the relationship between the woman and the teen have not been released, but authorities confirmed the incident occurred inside a residence.
Folloiwng the arrest, she was granted pretrial release. Court records show she was released under electronic monitoring as the case proceeds through the legal system. She is scheduled to appear in court again on Tuesday for the next hearing related to the charges. The case remains under investigation.
