The police in Wisconsin have some incredible technology to help fight crime, but not when an officer uses it for a reason that is not appropriate, according to the department.

WI Police Officer Busted For Searching License Plates For Personal Reasons

There are a lot of kids who like to pretend to be Batman. I know that I did back in the day. Not only is he a cool superhero, but the guy also has all those cool gadgets to help him fight crime. Those "toys" would be fun to play with. Think about all of the information you could find. You're sitting at a stoplight next to an attractive person, and all you would need is the kind of car and license plate number to track them down. Wait, that's really creepy.

According to Fox 6 Now Milwaukee...

A Milwaukee Police Department officer has been criminally charged after prosecutors say he improperly used department technology to search license plates for personal reasons.

Most big city police departments have that kind of crime fighting technolgy. It's extremely helpful when looking for suspects in crimes. It doesn't pay to break the law anymore because they will find you. Unfortunately, one officer in Milwaukee is using those methods for personal reasons.

He was using his department's Flock license plate system to search for ladies. He did it for two different women. He searched for the first one 55 times, and the second one 124 times. That's a little crazy. Both of the girls were in relationships at the time, and the officer actually did start dating one of them. I guess it helps when you know where your girlfriend or potential girlfriend is at all times.
