Just as we thought too many businesses were closing in Rockford, a new company announced they're set to open in the Stateline in 2024!

With all the restaurants, retail shops, and local businesses in town, it's really nice to see another unique shop opening in Rockford.  I've been waiting for something like this for.... forever.  I'm a sucker for snacks - I used to drive an hour just to get Japanese snacks from Hello Tokyo in Niles, Illinois, but no more wasting gas when I can get it just a few miles down the road!

First Ever Exotic Snack Store Set To Open In Rockford

I was scrolling through Facebook and saw that Culture Crunch is opening their first ever exotic snack store in Rockford in 2024.  Exciting!

Here's what they posted to Facebook.

"Rockford, big things coming in 2024! Culture Crunch is set to open its doors.  We’re proud to announce the opening of the very first exotic snack store in Rockford – the only one within a 50-mile radius.  We're about to bring something new to Rockford – a place where you can find snacks you've never seen before.

Culture Crunch will be selling exotic snack and sodas from around the world; a specialty grocery store!  To anybody who loves trying new foods, this place is definitely for you.

They'll be located at 5846 East State Street in Rockford in the same strip mall as Valli Produce, Party City, and Ollie's Bargain Outlet.  There's no set opening date yet, but all we know is it'll be in 2024.  Stay tuned!
