Five New Beef-a-Roo Restaurants Just Opened Outside of Illinois
If you thought the Beef-a-Roo expansion was over after a few restaurants had opened up outside of Illinois, think again.
This to me looks like the beginning of a strategic plan to eventually open Beef-a-Roo restaurants from coast to coast and why not really?
As someone who has witnessed the goodness of Beef-a-Roo firsthand, I think it's awesome.
On the other hand, there are those who have bemoaned the expansion of our beloved Rockford fast-food joint probably due to their unwillingness to share.
I'm just glad other folks will have a chance to experience it themselves. The wild thing about the rapid expansion is how quickly Beef-a-Roo has been able to open in different cities.
According to a Beef-a-Roo press release, here's how:
The expansion is notably driven by Next Brands, which is leveraging innovative approaches like low-cost shipping containers in order to revolutionize quick-service development. This not only reduces the time and cost of establishing new locations but also allows franchisees to start their own Beef-a-Roo location for just $200,000.
That's some serious low-cost expansion and these are the cities where a new Beef-a-Roo just opened:
- Springfield, Missouri
- Little Rock, Arkansas
- Harrison, Arkansas
- Overland Park, Kansas
- Lebanon, Indiana
If you're wondering if each Beef-a-Roo will have a theme like the locations in the Rockford area, I'm guessing "no" based on the "shipping containers" layout.
Then again, you can always check out each location in person. Sounds like a road trip. Let's make it happen.
