Minnesota does have some tough-to-pronounce names, but this city usually isn't considered one that's too difficult to say correctly.

Ah, Minnesota. We just don't get a lot of respect from the folks out in Hollywood, do we? Residents of the Land of 10,000 Lakes are sometimes portrayed as having an incredibly nasally accent, as season 5 of the FX show 'Fargo' pointed out. Just about EVERY character in that season, which was set in Scandia, Minnesota, had an over-the-top accent. (I mean, we don't *really* sound like that, do we?!?)

And now comes the latest Minnesota diss by another popular show; this time it's The Bachelor, which airs on ABC. The current season, which is set to wrap up with its season finale on Monday, March 25th, features the adventures of Joey Graziadei, a 28-year-old teaching tennis pro from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, as he looks for love:

After his heartbreaking departure at the end of Charity's season of "The Bachelorette," charismatic tennis pro Joey Graziadei will take a second shot at finding his perfect match during the 28th season of The Bachelor.

One of the fair maidens with whom Joey is attempting to find love with is, of course, from right here in the Bold North. That would be fellow Minnesotan Daisy Kent, who's from Becker. In the most recent episode, Joey was trying to say that he was looking forward to heading to Minnesota's largest city, but couldn't quite get it right.
