I saw this new Facebook page shared by Gary Gibbons, a friend I went to school with in Hannibal many moons ago. It's called Hannibal, Missouri Tourism.

It looks like this new social media project will join the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce, Visit Hannibal and others helping to promote what the city is up to.

I've reached out to Gary for more backstory about this new endeavor and he added this detail about the goal of this new Facebook page:

The plan is to assemble a team of individuals to build an online community that will promote Hannibal with original media and create new attractions in the city.

I am of the opinion that you cannot have too many voices spreading the word about great things happening in Hannibal, Missouri. Here's hoping that this new social media push helps continue to raise awareness for America's Hometown.
