It's easily two of my favorite flavors, and now a Minnesota company is doing something that may change the world, combining bacon and ranch into one limited edition release.

I don't know about you, but I'm definitely intrigued. This could be some next-level stuff for burgers, BLTs, salads...heck, maybe even ice cream sundaes if you're feeling adventurous!

Bacon has always been, and will continue to be, a great addition to many dishes, and it even makes a great stand-alone meal, and according to Technomic Ignite Menu, ranch is ranked as the third most popular condiment in the United States.

So it makes sense that Hormel, based in Austin, Minnesota, is putting the two together in their new Hormel Black Label Ranch Bacon. Black Label is some premium thick cut bacon, it's the bacon I buy when I want to treat myself, as it is generally the most expensive bacon in the bacon cooler, but it's good.

Hormel also claims that research shows that 38% of Millennial and Gen Z consumers have a strong preference for "new and exciting flavors", and I would say that this new product falls into that category.

Haley Tigner, the product manager of Black Label Bacon, says, "Consumers are using bacon and ranch together in all kinds of creative ways to take their flavor experiences to the next level, but with our new Ranch Bacon, you can experience the familiar taste of both ranch and bacon in a single bite!"

Hormel says that the new Ranch Bacon is available now for a limited time at stores across Minnesota and Wisconsin.
