It's funny because I've never really thought of Illinois as a place that creates things to make life better. As I sit here and think, there have been many amazing inventions that were created right here in Illinois. Apparently, we have many brilliant scientists who live in our state. That is something for all of us to be proud of, because a lot of times our state does things to embarrass us.
