We all like to complain about how terrible the weather is, but it could be so much worse.

It happens to the best of us. It's as if our brains are programmed in the Midwest to complain about the weather no matter what it is like outside.

It's too cold, it's too hot, it's not snowing, there's too much snow... the list goes on and on.

Many of you have lived through the flood of 1951 here in Rockford. Others have never seen anything like this before in their lives.
