Illinois Uber Drivers Now Allow Pets For An Extra Fee

Now, for a special cost, you can bring your pets with you on an Uber ride.

This new update service offered by Uber just makes sense. People need rides. They also like to take their pets with them. Why not offer pet owners the option to make some extra money.

According to chicagotribune.com,

"Uber passengers can bring their pets, for a $6 additional charge. Riders can select Uber Pet as they would any ride option within the Uber app. Uber drivers will keep most of the surcharge. Drivers who choose to opt-out of Uber Pet are still required to accept service animals on trips."
