Dominique Hudson was a truck driver by trade. When he was not behind the wheel, he was breaking into homes on his driving route. Apparently he was pretty damn good at it too.

This Illinois truck driver would make his drives throughout Illinois and Missouri and would take whatever he likes while his victims would sleep.

Carmen Reyes and his lady friend returned home one evening to find a back patio door unlocked, which was not the norm for the couple. They then began to find that things within their home were missing. Electronic devices, cash, priceless jewelry...all gone. When they reported this to the cops, things started to add up for the authorities. There had been at least twenty other burglaries in that area in a span of a few weeks!

It was the at-home security cameras on one home that finally helped bust Dominique Hudson, finally an image of this "Sandman." So now that the cops had an image, how could they catch him? It turns out that one of the electronic devices that he stole, had a tracking device on it.

The actual arrest was priceless...While in his truck, cops pulled the suspect over. Law enforcement produced a photo of him to show the "night thief" that they knew it was him. His response?? According to St. Charles Police Capt. Raymond Floyd:

'That's me. Why do you have a picture of me?'" - Dominique Hudson

At last the thief that robbed people while they slept, was caught. It's "off to never never land" for you, Mr. Hudson. KSDK
