Massive Traffic Jam Closes Roads Near Illinois Shopping Mall
The residents of Illinois were out in force on Black Friday to take advantage of all the great deals, and massive traffic caused major issues at a popular shopping mall.
Black Friday Sales Cause Huge Traffic Problems Around Illinois Mall
Do you remember what it was like to go shopping on Black Friday in Illinois just a few years ago? It was insane. People would camp out all night to get the best deals. When the stores opened their doors, people would be stampeding to get to what they needed first.

There would be brawls between shoppers in the stores. Those special products would sell out in just a few minutes and people attempted to sell them on the internet for a big profit. If you tried to go somewhere like a local mall, it would take forever to find somewhere to park.
Of course, like most things, people change their ways. Now, everything is available for purchase on the Internet. Online has become huge so customers don't even have to leave their homes. There was no longer a need to actually go to a store or mall.

I was happily surprised to find out that some consumers have changed their shopping habits for this holiday season. They are going out to stores and even stopping by the mall. It's great to see. There are several malls in Illinois that are still crushing it.
One of these popular places is the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall in Aurora. It's always been a busy place but this year went above and beyond. It was so crowded on Black Friday that the local police had to come out and close several roads to make sure everyone was safe. Did someone say dead malls, not all of them in Illinois.
