An Illinois man thought it was a good idea to use neighbors as randomly moving targets for paintball.

I have played paintball a couple of times. I will admit that I had a good time. It does hurt to be hit with one. Unfortunately, it is not something you could do by yourself. He does not have any friends who like to participate. Maybe, he just decided to start the game by himself and just shoot random people. That's not a very smart move.

A Champaign man was arrested after shooting paintballs at people, police said.

 

The University of Illinois Police says Darriontez J. McMillion, 19, was arrested at 10:27 p.m. on Sunday near Silver and Vawter streets in Urbana for aggravated battery and on a city of Champaign warrant for failure to appear in court.

Two people driving in a car were hit with paintballs and reported the incident to the police. After the witnesses were able to give a description of the paintball gunman, they found him pretty quickly. When the police arrested the suspect near the University of Illinois campus, he admitted to hitting random people with paintballs. There was also a paintball gun found in his car.
