This is one for the ages, and the K-9 Unit from the Illinois State Police, get all the credit!

Illinois State Police did a traffic stop, of a big ole RV on Interstate 80 in Bureau County, Illinois. This is a great line:

"Numerous indicators of criminal activity were observed."

That doesn't sound good for the people in the motor home.

The K-9 were brought in, and the rest is giant drug bust history. A "Free Air Sniff" was performed by the K-9 and apparently it was enough to do a vehicle search.

While the authorities performed a search of the motor home, "several large bags" of marijuana was found...and when I say several large bags, how about 600lbs of pot. Yikes!!!

The RV was occupied by two California men. Colt W. French, and Rory W. French are going to get super familiar with Illinois as they stay behind bars for a long time. Both were held on $300,000 bond for their transportation of massive amounts of weed into Illinois.

This line though, makes me smile...

"Numerous indicators of criminal activity were observed."

Driving with a joint and a beer? Broken tail light and no plates? Writing on the side of the motor home "Free Candy Inside!" There are so many possibilities.

Once you open up the motor home and their are multiple garbage bags filled with weed, can't imagine there are too many good excuses.
