The fans of hot sauce throughout the state of Illinois are getting ready to gather this summer to take on the heat at the annual Hot Sauce Expo.

I'm not afraid to admit that when it comes to hot sauce, I'm a wimp. I can't handle the heat. If I ever had any of these powerful ones, I wouldn't be able to taste for weeks. I really wish I could, but I guess that's not in the cards for me.

Many of my friends and family love the heat. The hotter the better. I have a buddy who literally has hundreds of different flavors of hot sauce. Who would've thought that hot sauce would become collectible?
