Huge Water Bottle Fight at Metallica’s 1996 Pecatonica Performance

1996 was the year Metallica played Lollapalooza at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds, and the crowd wanted Metallica.

What happened before Metallica hit the stage was nothing short of rock and roll.

What appears to be the entire crowd in the video below, got into the action by throwing water bottles all over the stage.

I guess that is one way to get Metallica's attention.
