Batter up! We are SO excited for Amazon Prime's newest series to finally come out, let's go team!

Once upon a time I was a little girl who just wanted to play baseball with her brothers. According to my mom I was always ready to go, even if it meant sliding into home plate after my older brother's baseball game in a yellow and white striped dress.

That's when she started practicing getting my stains out, spoiler alert she still does that for me.

When I was five I started playing softball and I saw the movie that would end up coming circle for me, 'A League of Their Own.'

Who knew I would end up spending at least a decade of my life living and working in Rockford?

So of course I love the movie and rocking Rockford Peaches gear whenever I get the chance which gets me SUPER PUMPED for the new show coming to Amazon Prime.

The bummer part is that the series has been pushed back for years due to the Pandemic, however, things seem like they're rolling in the right direction based on the newest Instagram account for the show.

You can follow @LeagueonPrime and keep up with the new characters that will be a part of the series.

The world is freaking out a little at Nick Offerman's role, he'll play the coach, who was previously portrayed (wonderfully I might add) by Tom Hanks in 1992.

The first post was only two weeks ago so it really does seem like this show is coming sooner than later, let's hope!
