How to Stop Game Requests From Facebook
Finally! No more Candy Crush requests!
Don't get me wrong, I became obsessed with Candy Crush for a good chunk of time. It was fun while it lasted.
Then, each day as I was on Facebook... I would receive more and more requests for games.
I don't use Facebook for games! I prefer to use my Facebook to keep in contact with my friends and family, including you my dear readers.
The increasing amount of notifications from different games would completely drive me bananas. Each day I would be asked to send something in Candy Crush, play a game of slots or give an ear of corn for someones growing online garden.
It was clogging up my news feed and making me insane.
I finally figured out a way to stop the notifications on my phone, for good!
This is what you have to do:
On your desktop or mobile device, go to Account Settings
Then, scroll down where it says Apps. When you click on that you will be brought to another screen
Click on where it says Platforms.
The top option is "Game Requests." Click 'NO' and wave good-bye to pesky game requests!
Ta-Da! You are welcome.
