It wasn't until this very moment that I realized I could blur my house on Google Street View.

While surfing my way around the internet, I started researching and looking at different famous homes in Illinois.

I was looking for the 'Home Alone' house that is at 671 Lincoln Ave in Winnetka. I wanted to take a look at it on Google Street View and I was shocked at what I found.

Kevin McCallister's house is blurred out for no one to see!

How in the world did they do that!?

Apparently, it's not that difficult to blur your car, licence plate, house or anything you don't want the world wide web to see on Google Street View.

Here's how it works.

First, locate the object, area, house, whatever that you want to blur. Then on the bottom right hand side of screen you will see something that says, 'report a problem.'

Once you click on 'Report a Problem' the rest is very self explanatory and very simple to follow the on screen instructions.

After your request is sent to Google, you can check back in a few days and see if your request was fulfilled.
