We are always on the job.

A new study from Bankrate has found that 44 million Americans have a side hustle, or what is more traditionally known as a second job.

Eighty-six percent who work this second gig do so monthly, with 36% of them raking in $500 a month doing so.

Millennials between the ages of 18 and 26 are the ones most likely to get a side hustle, too: 28% have a second income stream, with 61% working it every week and 96% clocking in every month. Maybe that's why they're spending so much time on their phones -- they're busy trying to find work.

So, whether you're driving an Uber, teaching a spin class or writing a concert review where you're paid a penny per word for some obscure blog your mom can never remember the name of to tell her friends to read, the facts are clear. People are working more and more.

What about you? Do you have a side hustle? And, if so, how often do you do it?
