Hoo Haven in Desperate Need Of Donations After Building Floods
Hoo Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Durand is down on their luck again, and "desperately" needs our help.
Thanks to Tuesday's heavy rain and snow melt, their sanctuary has flooded and forced them to quickly move dozen of injured and orphaned animals. Hoo Haven runs primarily on donations and volunteers, so they are hoping the Rockford-area community can donate specific items to help them clean up the mess and help prevent future flooding problems.
As of Wednesday night, Hoo Haven has still not received the Universal Discharge Hose from Farm & Fleet that they really need. If you would like to make a monetary donation to Hoo Haven instead, you can do so now here.
