Holy Cross Wisconsin is Home to ‘Rock Throwing Little People and Gnomes’

I had to look up where Holy Cross, Wi was located at. Holy Cross Road is the location for this timeless story filled with so much, I'm not sure where to start.

As the story goes, a mother and her children were walking home. The mother decided to hurry everyone across a railroad track quickly, before the train passed...The family didn't make it. :(

So there are two parts to this story, let's start with your car. If you park your car on this railroad track (I would not recommend this, ever) and put your car in neutral...The "family" will appear and push your car so it is off the tracks. Yes, your vehicle will start to roll.

Now here's my favorite part...If you pick up a rock near the railroad track and chuck it into the nearby woods...Little people and "gnomes" will pick up rocks and throw them back at you!

So wait, gnomes and little people throwing rocks at you? Can you say ROADTRIP!?!?

As the folklore with this story goes...if you toss a rock into the woods, the little people and gnomes will curse you with bad luck! So they throw crap at you, and then set a "bad luck" curse on you? These devilish little fellas, you so crazy!
