This hypnotic video showcases a chronological review of classic guitar riffs throughout the history of rock 'n roll. Guitarist Alex Chadwick does a good job of giving a small taste of great guitar rock from the 1950's to today. Starting with "Mr. Sandman" from Chet Atkins and taking us through the years with riffs from Buddy Holly, the Beatles, Stones, Who, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Neil Young, Van Halen...you get the idea.

As a rock 'n roll disc jockey, I only have a couple of corrections to make. "Black Magic Woman" is a Fleetwood Mac song popularized by Santana, but the riff is the brainchild of the Mac's original guitar guru, Peter Green. "Pictures of Matchstick Men" is listed as a song by '80s group Camper Van Beethoven. They did have a hit with the song in 1989, but it was first released in 1967 by the English group Status Quo. Minor things I know, but I just couldn't sleep at night unless I cleared that up. Now enjoy the riffage:
