Harold Ramis has died at the age of 69. Ramis was a proud son of Chicago whose work is well-loved. Ramis helped write 'National Lampoon's Animal House', 'Stripes', and 'Ghostbusters' (which he also co-starred). He also directed 'Caddyshack', 'National Lampoon's Vacation', 'Groundhog Day', and 'Analyze This.'

The cause of death was reported to have died from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease that involves swelling of blood vessels.
