Halloween ComicFest This Saturday in Rockford

Who knew there was more than one day a year to get FREE COMICS?

Well, I didn't anyway. And I'm a huge fan of Free Comic Book Day, which is the first Saturday in May.

And since I'm a fan, I subscribe to their newsletter. Color me surprised when I opened their latest and discover another FREE comic book event going on this weekend!

Per the video I watched about the event, Halloween ComicFest is the spooky little sister to Free Comic Book Day.

They're will be all kinds of Halloween fun going one too. Like costume contests, candy, prizes, and 28 different titles (comic books) that will be available for free!

Some titles include a Miles Morales Spiderman, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Star Wars Boba Fett.

This is only happening at participating comic shops and we're lucky enough to have five stores nearby, 2 right here in Rockford. That's both Top Cut locations. There's the OG on North 2nd St. in Loves Park (I still refer to it as TIY) and their newest location on S. Alpine Rd.

The kids and I will defiantly be checking this out on Saturday! Will I be seeing any of you there?
