Blue Buckets for Autism This Halloween
The Teal Pumpkin Project has been around for a couple of years now, but parents of autistic children have come up with a new thing that will help their kids feel included this time of year.
Now after one parent's post went viral, kids on the spectrum now have a better chance of being seen and not excluded from all the Halloween fun.
Some people with autism may not be able to communicate just how challenging going door-to-door can be for them. While others may look like their "too old" to out trick-or-treating. Don't judge a book by its cover, their hearts are in the right place and that's all that matters.
So look for a blue treat bucket because Halloween is meant to be a fun time for all, let's make sure everyone gets to be a part of it!
